Wearing the Right Size Bra

Myth:
Wearing the right size bra can make you look smaller/larger.
Reality:
NO.
Whoever said this, stop right now.

The only reason your boobs would look smaller is because you wouldn't be trying to shove them into tiny ass bras, making the look like a multiplying cells of breast tissue.
Because you would stop saying, oh, I'm not a D cup, I've never been a D cup, and I'll never be a D cup, even if radiation started making my breasts swell as large as my head!
WELL GUESS WHAT, DENYING DANA?
YOU'RE A D. THAT'S A CUP SIZE, AND YOU'RE IT.
AND 40? THAT'S A NUMBER. UNLESS YOU LIKE ROLLING HILLS OF BACK FAT, YOU NEED TO WEAR IT.
Theoretically, not all of you denying Dana's are D cups or 40 bands, but you're not wearing the right one.

And they would only look larger because the wouldn't fill your cup only halfway, leaving the top empty, and the cup wrinkly, and your boobs looking like they're drowning raisins.
If you're a B cup, guess what?
YOU'RE A B.
NOT A C, OR A D, OR A DD.
B.

All wearing the right size bra is going to do for you, is make your boobs look the way they're supposed to.
The way genetics and Mother Nature, and all those fun bits of your life intended them to look.
You want to look bigger?
BUY A PUSH UP BRA.
Want to look smaller?
BUY A MINIMIZER.

But whatever you want, STOP LYING.
Because, in the dark of the night, I will find you.

And I will tie you up with measuring tapes, and suspend you over a burning pile of your old, ill fitting bras, and poke you with the burning hot metal bits of the bras until you see the grievous errors of your ways.

Band vs. Cup, Are Your Boobs Big?

I get a lot of people that ask me if they have large breasts.
And it's a question that is actually kind of difficult to answer at this point in my life.
Especially after seeing the huge 164XXX breasts of Chelsea Charms, everyone looks, well, smaller.
But I've always kind of gone by what I call my chart of averages.
Now, the chart of averages is just what I use as a reference to let a girl know, speaking by logic, if she is average size in the bust.

And as you can see, the chart only goes from an A to a D, and a 32 to a 38.
That's because these are the most common sizes, and if you're any other kind of band, it's all kind of nonsense at that point.
So if you're a 32 D, you're large for your band size.
This is important to remember, because band size makes a difference.
Because if a 32 D is next to a 34D, the 34D will look larger.
I'll explain why this is the way it is in a later post.

But another important thing to remember is body shape is really important here too.
You may have a pear shape, which will cause your bust too appear smaller, or you may be hourglass, causing it to look larger.

So it's all pretty objective, but thsi is just a way to get a quick idea on your size, and where you fall.

Medium Boobs

For further classification, medium breasts are anything from a B to a C.
These are the most common sizes in a bra.
So luckily, you will basically find any kind of bra you want, any color, any style.
Lucky bitches.
These boobs have natural perkiness to them, and generally a good shape.
Sometimes these girls can get away with not wearing a bra, but gravity still applies to them.
A new size that's been kind of introduced to the bra spectrum is a 40 B.
Now, I might not have mentioned this, but the major band sizes are 34-38.
But once you get into a band size 40, you're generally going to be in a bigger cup size.
OR SO THEY THOUGHT.
There are some girls out there who have smaller breasts, and a wide chest, hence the new size.
Anyways.
They even make great supportive non underwire bras for this size.
YOU ALL SUCK.

Boobs and Bras: The Basics

BOOBS
Boobs are amazing.
They can feed babies, cushion blows, and even keep you (and someone else ;D) warm in the winter.
But no one has the exact same boobs as anyone else. Like stars and snowflakes, boobs are unique entites, and must be treated with reverance and respect.

Boobs: Breast tissue attached to the chest, designed to nuture children.

The reason your boobs and my boobs are different boils down to two factors:

1. GENDER
2. BREAST TISSUE

1. If you are a man, our boobs will be different.
2. If you're a woman, chances are your breast tissue has been distributed differently than mine.
This could be because of your past, your family history, and how you treat your boobs.
How you treat your boobs relates directly to your bra.

BRAS
Bras come in all shapes, sizes and styles.
There are demis, push ups, unlined, underwire, strapless, stick on, bandeau, wireless, padded, molded cup, etc.
We'll cover those later. ;D (Get it? Because you cover your boobs with your bras?)
The bra you buy will be the main factor in what happens to your boobs over time.

The most common type of bra is a molded cup underwire bra.
These are standard bras with a shaped cups for your boobs, generally about 1/16th of an inch thick, with a wire attached to the cup for support of the breast tissue.

Second most common is the underwire push up bra.
This bra also has a molded cup, but the bottom of the cup has more padding to it. Some brands of bra will also do a little bit of padding on the side to make the ultimate effect. Basically your boob will rest on top of the padding, or will kind of be wedged against it, snug as a bug, depending on brand or style.
